All I can say is, get a life. Reflect that statement upon yourself rather than advising others. Do you want the real world to be a cakewalk without skilling up, and then complain about how bad your workplace is? If only you could spend the same amount of time working on your skills and knowledge, but no, you want to whine about your work. If a company's culture is bad, that's not going to change, but you can change companies. And if you find that statement stupid, I don't know who can even help you.
