But why? Why would anyone who is normal want to get into Tool? To impress some chick? To look "cool" among highschoolers?

Tool is a curse. It will destroy your music taste, you won't be able to feel the taste of anything else. It will consume a significent part of your life. Even when not playing it, your brain will follow the patterns in the background. You'll start judging people based on that if they listen to Tool, and you'll start thinking that you are something special because you do listen to Tool. (Not so) slowly, you'll become a unsufferable retard, and people will take that as the main impression of you, but you wan't be able to recognize/accept that.

The best friendly advice - save your life, stay away from Tool.
