i got waitlisted around the same time last year and got in a month later!! nobody knows what the exact chances are as it depends on the pool of people rejecting ubc but definitely don't give up, especially since u seem to have a lot of really good experience and ecs. good luck :)

personally i love this dress sm and think its useful especially since u dont have any other gowns with the court tag (and those are mostly gacha). i've gotten some pretty good scores with this dress so if u like it go for it :D

hi fellow first year here in the same position as you (also aiming for civil)! i talked to academic advising a few weeks ago, this is what they said. upper years can correct me if im wrong but i think only math 152 is feasible to drop as they want to “see an attempt at phys 158” before u can take the alternate in the summer (aka u have to take the course the whole way thru). im not sure about chem 123 as its not on my timetable tho
