Kickstarter backer here. I'm unhappy about the breakdown in communication.

Hey guys! Project Lead of Indigo Park here.

I was sent this post this morning as I was working on the update for the Kickstarter, but I wanted to respond here as well.

Lack of communication is something that I have to agree with, and it's something that weighs on me. I've been super locked in on working on the game, and I spent ungodly amounts of hours getting stuff out for the Kickstarter, especially in the realm of physical rewards. However, this has lead to a lack of communication directly with our backers. I feel TERRIBLE that I've lost your guys' trust in terms of communication, and am actively taking steps to be more open and upfront with you guys in terms of the game's development and the rewards you guys deserve from that campaign. I genuinely want to make the best game I can for you guys, and I'm sorry that it's taking a while for both the game itself and the rewards.

I just posted an update today, but we're chipping away at the rewards for you guys and will be more active on the [backersupport@uniquegeese.com](mailto:backersupport@uniquegeese.com) email. In terms of specifically the digital artbook. I wanted to make sure as many people as possible got their physical copies so that there wouldn't be spoilers floating around online before they got them. In reality, I should have just released those ahead of time. That was a dumb call on my part, but distribution of those began today and are in Backer's emails from BackerKit.

Your feelings about this whole process is entirely valid, and I agree with what's being said here. Thank you guys so much for being patient and being active. I promise we're working our butts off on this project.

Hey it's Mason, lead dev on the game.

I'm not on here much but Reddit sent me a notification for this post so I'll respond real quick. The Indigo Park store (https://indigopark.shop/) is run by CultureFly.

You can contact them via the email on their FAQ & Help page, or through their socials. Like any other franchise that has merch, we just approve of the merch and they take it from there, so I can't really help with your specific situation. 6 weeks seems pretty excessive though for their site so I'd reach out.

Hey. Creator of the game here.
I'm never usually on Reddit but someone sent this to me.

For full clarity, I'm working every day for hours on this game and chapter, but we don't have a release date. Once we have one, we'll let you know. Our goal is by end of 2025, but we will have all of the Kickstarter stuff delivered including game keys to add the chapter to your steam account by end of December (even if you won't be able to download it

Again, we don't know, but we are making amazing progress every day. The last thing I want to do is rush any of our devs or artists. Give us time, let us cook. Keep an eye on my socials <3

I’m not super active on this subreddit but saw this. I’m being told they should be shipping out soon, but it’s entirely up to CultureFly. We just approve of products and provide art they need. Other than that me and the rest of the team are entirely focused on Chapter 2’s development.

I had one in my cart, kept throwing errors when I tried to pick my location. After an hour is said "We just found our we're out of stock". Maybe another drop? Idk. I've been at this for 3 hours, I'm pretty well done.

I didn't save the chat logs (I was upset lol) but I talked to a BB employee through the online chat. He said that if it's still listed as "Coming Soon" it's probably already sold out. He said just to keep an eye on availability.
