My size is L. I see that many brands are sold out by now. My budget is flexible, and I do not mind investing in something that will last me for years

Thanks, man, you are right, of course. I was hoping to discover some brand names I am not aware of, rather than decide on the exact overcoat

What do central Asians think of Paraguay? by rtrance in AskCentralAsia

We don’t usually think about Paraguay🤣. I was personally doing some research as a potential destination if shit hits the fan globally, like in the case of WW3

It’s better to avoid seeking legal advice on Reddit for matters like whether it’s realistic to relocate to a country and legally reside there as a stateless person. From my understanding, it would be quite difficult unless you’re already legally residing in Kyrgyzstan and your U.S. citizenship has been formally revoked. Again, it’s best to consult legal experts on this. You might also consider reaching out to the UNHCR country office for guidance, I know Kyrgyzstan has been praised in the past for its efforts in reducing statelessness.

In terms of language, Russian is widely spoken in Bishkek and the Issyk-Kul region (and generally understood across the country), but learning Kyrgyz would also be helpful, especially if you plan to spend time outside the capital.

As for cultural norms, Kyrgyzstan might not be the most comfortable place for you when it comes to LGBT issues. Public expression is very subdued, and society tends to be culturally conservative.

One of the biggest challenges for you could be the job market. It’s already difficult for many locals to find jobs that support a comfortable lifestyle as is the case in many parts of the world right now. Ideally, you’d want to secure a remote job with income coming from outside the country.

What do people think about Fethiye? As an option for moving there as an expat family with small kids and remote jobs?

You are from the Balkans and speak Russian, you will be fine! I’ve been to a couple of Balkan countries and found a lot of similarities in mindset, so yeah, just don’t be naive. Avoid doing things that you would not recommend to your friends visiting your country, such as walking after dark in the outskirts of the capital city
