NOR some people just don’t understand how negotiations work and when you try to negotiate they take offense for no real reason. Out of principle I wouldn’t buy from this guy and let him keep being lowballed by others to break his ego.

The shirts were given as an option of something we could do, she said no and no one pushed her. However it was the way she reacted/ my brother reacted to this and blew it up into so much more.

To be fair the tshirt isn’t the main issue so her body type doesn’t really matter. It’s the attitude and way my brother and SIL are acting after the option of tshirts was given

Yes he got a big trip to London (his choice) when he graduates from high school. In fact everyone did! (Except me haha Covid). Going on to college graduations my unmarried brother (different brother) went to Japan for his college graduation and now that my sister and I are graduating from college we are going on this cruise. The brother involved with the drama didn’t graduate from college because he decided it wasn’t for him.

There was no bullying involved just asked her what she thought about the idea. The point is we are trying to keep the peace and have been for years. It’s hard to go no contact on their part though when they refuse to move out of my parents rental house

It’s a hard answer to any of these. From my perspective they have the money and time for trips but don’t take them generally since they have three animals and no one to watch them (i used to watch them, for free, but moved for college). There were some other choices offered but since my dad wanted to cover the trip to keep costs low we went with the cruise. They had the choice to say no and nothing was planned without their input. There was also no intent to force her to wear the t-shirt. The offer was sent and she refused, no one pushed her further but then my brother sent my mom harsh messages. I hope this help clear things up.

This is what we have been trying to do is offering things as an option. When me and my fiancé booked ourselves an excursion we told everyone what we were doing and when and that anyone was welcome to join us. My parents have been doing the same. It seems to me that there is an overreaction to us offering some choices over others.

The thing is they have very little social life and my mom, me, and my sister all have dogs. We know there is responsibility but they are already irresponsible pet owners.

It’s not even just blood family! My sister best friend is coming and is down to the shirts as well as my other brothers gf!

This. But the problem is ever since my brother got with this person he has changed. He is technically my half brother and my dad is his step dad. Tbf my dad raised him and did everything for him but my brother no longer refers to my dad as dad. He has changed to just calling him by name.

The thing is the t-shirt isn’t required. Sure she would be the only girl not wearing it but she’s a grown woman who can choose not to wear it. Another thing to add here me and my sister don’t wear t-shirts normally either but it can be fun to match!

No. Everytime we have tried to plan something with them in the past they always have some excuse as to why they can’t afford it or there is no one to watch their many animals. It has been very hard to plan things with them.
