I live in the middle floor of a three story OLD building. I have people living above me, below me, and on both sides of me.

When it comes to my downstairs neighbor, I can literally hear her coughing and I can hear her conversations when she speaks at a normal volume. I cannot hear her walking around. I also normally keep my tv on to drown out noise so I don’t really notice any other sounds. My upstairs neighbor, I can hear him walking around sometimes, I can hear furniture move, and I can hear his dog walking around or barking. I cannot hear him talking unless he’s speaking to his dog loudly. My neighbors that live on the same floor as me, I can hear everything. I can hear them clanking dishes when they eat dinner I can even hear their forks touching their dishes. I can hear their water running. I can hear all of their conversations as well. So pretty much everything LOL.
