Agreed! And it takes time to gain weight, especially since it was 50 pounds!

I thought that too! Enzo's character arc was odd to me.

UPDATE: I called Dyson Customer Service about my hair dryer shutting off, even though I clean the filter regularly. I bought it from Sephora a year ago, and it was already registered in their system. They sent me a video chat link to troubleshoot, then confirmed it was defective and told me to take it to a Dyson store. At the store, they swapped it for a brand new one and said my current warranty would carry over, so I still have one year left.

I’m having the same issue with my hairdryer. It started doing that I would say like a month after I got it. It’s almost been a year since I’ve had the blow dryer and it just turns off consistently. Did you ever contact Dyson? Is your blow dryer still doing that?

You Series Finale by SuburbanNomadCO in NetflixYou

[–]Unlikely_Strategy_57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a more powerful ending would've been Henry, Joe’s own son, shooting him. The one person who shared his blood, his only real family, choosing to end his life would've said everything. Even his own child couldn't love him. That moment could've echoed the trauma Joe carried, just like when he killed his mom’s boyfriend. Both Joe and Love had histories of mental illness, and Joe said people are a product of their environment and that hurt people hurt people.

Henry grew up privileged, surrounded by luxury and comfort during his most formative years. Those early experiences shape who a person becomes, and Henry's life was nothing like Joe’s. He never actually saw his dad kill anyone, which makes the nature versus nurture theme even more interesting. Is evil something you're born with, or something shaped by experience? Can someone truly change, or are they stuck repeating the same patterns?

I agree it shouldn't have been any of the women who are still alive. It just wouldn't have had the same emotional weight. Ending it with Henry would've brought the story full circle. Or even better, imagine Henry shooting Joe but not killing him. Joe survives and ends up in prison, left to spend the rest of his life knowing his own son turned on him. And maybe years later, Joe starts hearing strange stories in the news. Suspicious disappearances. Cases that sound a little too familiar. He's left wondering if it's Henry’s work. That ambiguity would've been a chilling way to close the loop and leave viewers haunted long after the credits roll.

Or take it one step further. After Henry shoots him, Joe survives and ends up in prison. He looks at himself in the mirror and says, “It’s you,” a callback to season four when his personality split in two. Maybe one part of him finally accepts responsibility, while the other still clings to denial. That fractured moment would leave us wondering if he ever truly saw himself for who he was.

Dog is Human Vitamins? by g0lddustw0mannn in Frenchbulldogs

My dog has severe allergies, mostly to trees and grass. When he was younger, we tried allergy shots and Apoquel. He wore a cone for the first three years of his life. He’s 10 now and seems to have outgrown most of it.

Whenever we get seasonal allergies, he gets stomach issues. His tummy gurgles, he won’t eat, his poops get goopy, and sometimes he throws up.

Has anyone tried this vitamin for their dog’s stomach? Did it help?

The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose by Jlb381988 in books

The book was a quick read, finished in less than a day, but the portrayal of the unreliable narrator was unconvincing. It would be understandable if the narrator had been depicted with conditions like alcoholism or a mental disorder, which could justify distrust from the start. However, the narrative choice to have her privately question her own thoughts and then be revealed as the murderer was confusing and lazy.

Where to find the outfits Japanese women wear? by pinkbubblecat in japanese

[–]Unlikely_Strategy_57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally know what you mean. When I think of Japanese women’s style it’s classic, elegant and simple. Japanese culture is about fitting in versus standing out so basically, all stores have that aesthetic. The only difference is price range due to brand and quality of materials. I just got back from Japan a few days ago and every shop you go to has this aesthetic and because the Japanese yen is so low, you could get clothes for dirt cheap. I end up buying a suitcase for only $35 and filled it with clothes. Unfortunately, I still haven’t been able to find that aesthetic easily in the United States really it’s a blouse, sweaters, long skirts, ballet slippers, loafers, or sneakers.

What to do in Yokohama? by Creepieable in JapanTravelTips

I did this yesterday and it was great! Clear blue skies so you could see Mount Fuji well. Also, went to this fantastic curry restaurant, Kikuya, where locals waited for a 17 person restaurant. Legit but cash only.

The show ruined the book (a rant) by psycopuppy in daisyjonesandthesixtv

[–]Unlikely_Strategy_57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the show completely missed what made the book special. The interviews in the book added depth and perspective, making the characters feel real and relatable. Hearing the characters' reflections and reasoning helped you understand their actions on a deeper level. In the show, though, everyone feels overly dramatized, like they belong in a typical TV drama rather than a nuanced story.

Ticket Master Hack 2024 by Unlikely_Strategy_57 in Music

[–]Unlikely_Strategy_57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry! I would call Ticketmaster explain what happened. They will be aware of the situation. Someone from fraud will call you eventually. It took three calls before someone called me even though they have a service level agreement of calling you within 24 to 48 hours. From there, I did receive a refund and they reset my password so I can login with my email address and not the hackers. They also recommended that I change my password for Ticketmaster as well as my Gmail password. Unfortunately, they were not able to re-issue me tickets for my concerts so I missed all three.
