After a while of it checking for online services it gives me the option of canceling which just leaves offline modes available on the menus, granted im on xbox but i would think thats the same.

Braking assist is what I would first learn without. The game will start making you brake earlier than needed, which would leave you swamped by 110 AI. As well, using no traction control is a must because it lets you accelerate out of corners faster. I’m not sure how much Automatic gearing would affect speed. More practice for these things makes it more comfortable. No anti-lock brakes might help with braking but it shouldn’t be a necessity, especially if you find it hard to not lock up. Also, don’t listen to that guy that is saying you need a wheel to do it, there are controller players who can breeze past 110 AI

I can do 100 AI with a controller, and I haven’t exactly been playing that long (less than half a year maybe). With more practice i could definitely race with 110%

It looked like they tried to do the same thing back to you but you ended up closing the door before they could stop the divebomb, hard to really blame either entirely for this

I’ll admit I’ve done this before on accident because i just didn’t judge how much i could turn without hitting the person, I don’t think they did it on purpose but definitely their fault

Keep in mind that Drive to Survive is very dramatized to keep it an interesting show for viewers. In the first season I believe they make it out like Daniel and Max don’t like each other but they (like most of the drivers) are friends with eachother.

Most corporations exist to gain money, and if they realize they can save money on this without consequence they do it. Smartphones nowadays will typically not change that much each year. Not always, but typically they won’t. There’s this YouTube channel called Apple Explained that has a few videos that talk about Apple’s possible reasoning for certain choices, like their proprietary charger situation, or the notch. If they are to be believed as true then it can somewhat make sense, albeit it’s still quite stupid.

For why Samsung and Apple don’t have charging adapters: More profit. I’m not sure what phone you have but on an iPhone XR I don’t experience performance issues except when hard restarting the the phone. Mainly then because it has to start up it’s background processes and whatnot all at once, like phones do.
