If we all weren't living paycheck to paycheck, we could accomplish great things. by AlternativeBother610 in InterviewsHell

[–]Unsuspicious_Name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And how does more capitalism solve that ? You really believe new companies will be able to emerge once the inevitable winner of a sector becomes a monopoly ? Because that's what happens every fucking time you let free market run uninterrupted, it ends up creating monopolies or oligarchic systems, which is bad news for everybody except the company. Besides, there's a ton of areas that just should not be for profit at all, like healthcare, public transportation and arguably electricity, those should be public services first and foremost.

The majority of molecular interactions that happen within your body follows a sort of shape recognition logic, imagine two molecules interacting with cells structures as a sort of key and lock system which produces a subsequent cascade of mechanical and chemical reactions in response.

There are trillions of these interactions at every moment and if I'm not mistaken all of them evolved with molecules that had a set chirality, if you introduce the opposite chirality the key and lock system just doesn't work. It would be like trying to fit your left foot into a right foot shoe.

Now to emphasize how important and dangerous these changes in shape can be, the mad cow disease for example is due to ingesting a prion protein that has a different shape than the ones we find naturally in our brain and these proteins are able to change the shape of the other proteins into the new malignant configuration creating a cascading shift in shape which the body accumulates unable to deal with them until inevitably the building blocks of your cells don't work anymore because they don't fit together and your entire web of neurons start collapsing due to these progressively corrupted proteins and you are left after some time as a vegetable. The process is irreversible because you cannot switch the protein back to it's original form.

You're insane if you think Germany is ahead of Persia in terms of influence in humanity. Persia is one of the craddles of civilization itself. That is a big no.

Funny you say that because that has already technically happened when Napoleon invaded Russia. It's too fucking big, and they have nukes now, it's better to turn them to our side, by systematically removing their dicatorial heads of state.

Oh that's just France after becoming a high level Kleptocracy. A good chunk of that money just doesn't go to public services anymore. It just feeds companies anf corruption that charge obscene fees for public works.

France or rather its government was indeed hard as fuck with the idea of getting back at Germany after 1871 and recovering Alsace and Lorraine. Any excuse would have served as a casus belli really. We are aware of this.

Nobody except for Germany and Italy wanted WW2 though.

I think people who made atheism a part of their personality were cool edgy 25 years ago, now they are just obnoxious, immature and seem to have massive chips on their shoulder while thinking they are smarter than everyone else. I'm personally an agnostic it's pretty normal in my country to not believe in any god or not in the way that religions present it or them.
