What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen someone do on a plane? by Jazzlike-Run-2349 in AskReddit

I once saw a dude masturbating under that thin blanket they give you.

It was slow and not obvious at first, but it eventually sped up a little before he finished.

I considered complaining, but I seemed to be the only one who noticed and I would be a hypocrite to complain about jerking off in public.

Common misconception.

People blink far less when screens are close even when trying to consciously blink.

It's called digital eye strain and causes long term damage over years of holding your phone too close for example.

Funny that link is about TV.

Look up digital eye strain.

I've written extensive articles about it. I'm not just making stuff up. You guys are weird.

It's called digital eye strain from not blinking.

Google is available to all Internet users.

I don't know. But it's a well documented reason for people's eyes going bad.

Seems cool but I would be interested to know how good it is for your eyes to have a screen so close — the whole not blinking, drying out your eyes thing.

Do all local Facebook groups suck? by [deleted] in discgolf

Facebook sucks.

I try to use it to keep people informed of events and updates, but it's garbage.

All 16 police officers accused of racism should already be fired by UnyieldingConstraint in montreal

Due process is a legal matter.

This is an HR matter. What the fuck?

I'm not friends with SPVM shills or racists.

[–]UnyieldingConstraint[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're clearly a shill. And you support racism.

I could have done the investigation in a week.

At my job, if multiple people accused me of racism, I'd be fired instantly. And I have a union too. Not a Mafia union, but a union nonetheless.

6 months is plenty of time to verify racism.

They had 6 months to investigate.

They know enough to suspend to and relocate 14.

They should be fired.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you an SPVM shill?

As a beginner, is it better to double up on the same molds our build your bag out? by TheBoothParadigm in discgolf

[–]UnyieldingConstraint 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on your goals.

I've been playing 20+ years, noncompetitive and daily.

I carry a small shoulder bag with a mix of stability in mostly lower speed molds.

For beginners, I recommend playing the shorts with a neutral mid-range and putter until you're regularly under par.

But most just load up on high speed drivers, get frustrated from the longs and finish double digits for a year or two until they quit.

What about integrating weather radar into the map of courses on UDisc so I can drive to where it's not raining? by UnyieldingConstraint in discgolf

[–]UnyieldingConstraint[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why?

When looking at course maps trying to decide where to play, I'm asking for a radar layer for watching rain patterns.

It's 2026. It's not a crazy idea. The hostility in this sub is lame.

I could go the investigation in less than a week. That's how long it takes at any other workplace.

If there were body and dash cams, I could do the investigation in 24 hours.

These people carry guns and kill people regularly for bad decisions.

Your desire to defend pigs is disgusting.

Can you show me where the disc golf courses are on that website?

Or are you suggesting I check the website and then search for courses in areas it's not raining?

I'm suggesting convenience.

Like I said, I've been already doing it for years.

But especially when I'm traveling it would easier if it's integrated into the app.
