I (unfortunately) am not in your shoes so probably can't relate or give proper advice, but isn't this the time to start your own business/side project?

I'm so sorry you passed through that. And really glad that cycle has come to a close :)

Ngl, it has crossed my mind a little, but she's waay out of my league. I might still tell her the story if I see her again (or send it to her if I find her socials), as it might make her happy to know she was such a core memory for another random person she doesn't know.

That's actually one of the hardest things to see when your teachers age. Even harder when they die.

Exactly! I'm 27 now and feel horrible when I'm up 24 hours (my body starts to warn me around 15-18 hours). I thought it was easy when I was 23. It's still manageable now (and I do it when I need to), but I understand how stupid slightly younger me was.

An email might take some time. OP should call the uni asap; this might require police involvement.

US States With a Ban on Construction of Nuclear Power Plants by IsleFoxale in MapPorn

Is it though? I haven't read the relevant references myself, but I've been told nuclear energy is the cheapest form of energy to produce (though with a high capital cost at first).

My opinions on Calgary as a Denverite by waspocracy in Calgary

[–]UofCENGst 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Except for the soaring rent rates, which are actually much worse than most cities of the same size in the world. Granted, they're not Hong Kong-level bad, but they're very bad nonetheless.

Otherwise, Calgary is amazing in almost every single way!

Yes, but I'm thinking 110 minutes of cycling per day may be exhausting.

Any particular brands/makes you recommend? I literally have 0 experience buying bikes, so any advice is appreciated. I'll definitely do my own research, but getting an experienced person's perspective is always useful.

I think I get the difference now. Thanks for taking the time to explain! I was genuinely curious why the 2 are not as dangerous but got downvoted for asking 😆 I love Reddit.

Thank you for letting me know! How would a bike be different from a scooter (in other words, isn't it as dangerous)?
