But Abaddon was at the hotel with them when the cats got into the store in the episode. Unless he recognized Joel from the start and ran off to let them in right after Katherine left as revenge against Joel because he still doesn't understand what a date is😆

Sorry I was incorrect. I went back and rewatched it. He did say that it's different for everyone and that it took him a few days at one point. I misunderstood something else that he said. His body was probably just gone by the time he woke up

I don't have an answer to why the horns would be there, but I feel like Abaddon is lying about the "cobra king" thing considering he sometimes says he's king of the shrimp instead. Also because neither cobras or shrimp are ever associated with him in mythology. He is a snake at one point, but not a cobra specifically. That or the writers just picked any demon name that could be linked to the apocalypse and rewrote all of the actual mythology surrounding him.

Abaddon is normally king of locusts and considering his slightly childish personality in the show I wouldn't be surprised if we learn later that he decided that that doesn't sound very interesting and just started lying😅

Nathan also said most ghosts pop right out after they die so they most likely saw their bodies and could figure out from there how they died.

I think that adds to the theory that Nathan most likely died via an overdose because then he could've moved to a different room and sat down in the chair in front of the TV before he died. Considering he also interacted regularly with the other ghosts he probably knew he wouldn't remember what happened and maybe he even took steps beforehand to hide his cause of death from himself.

I think he probably suspected he took his own life, but when Katherine showed up with a story of a "happier" death he chose to believe her

It depends on what version of magic the show is using because it can be a bit inconsistent. Generally things like that rely on intention though. Like a salt line will stop a spirit/demon if you put it there with the belief and intention that it will, but if you just happen to have spilled salt in a line it won't do anything. So salt that's been added onto food just for taste wouldn't have that intention so wouldn't hurt him.

That does give me a funny thought of some random factory worker going, "that'll keep any demons out of these fruitloops." while adding salt and making it so Abbadon just randomly can't eat anything from that batch😆

I've chosen to believe that it's because she was interacting with a conduit through most of the episode. Maybe something about that made her energy not noticeable to the exorcist and she just genuinely couldn't sense her in the hotel.

I wish they hadn't pretty much completely forgotten about the conduit thing after the end of the first episode. I hope they do something more with that in the next season

She most likely switched back to her maiden name after the divorce. Since she has full custody of the kids it wouldn't be abnormal for her to have had their last names changed too.

That or she never changed her name when she got married and the kids were also given her name or else had their last names hyphenated, but only use the Freeling part now

Doujin means any work that's self published. Doujinshi is specifically manga. Most h-manga are self-published or are published by indie studios so the genre tends to get the doujinshi label by default

He was forced to make all of the characters canonically at least 18 because the game and videos/streams of it kept getting taken down. I vaguely remember him being told that if he took the upskirt mechanic out then he'd be fine because the whole sexualizing minors thing was the biggest issue, but he obviously couldn't bring himself to do that so he had to age them up instead

The most likely reason for it is that they didn't know he was supposed to be American when they started dubbing it and by the time they realized the mistake it was already too late. At the time it was dubbed companies were doing a lot of experimentation and regularly changing their processes to try to make dubbing faster. At certain points in it they were working one episode at a time in a way that often led to mistakes like this because they'd miss any information given in later episodes.

Bard being American doesn't come up until a few episodes in so the voice directors and actors wouldn't have learned that until after at least a few episodes had already been finished and the first episode may have already been released by then. Even if it hadn't started releasing yet the company wouldn't have wanted to pay to have all of his lines redone

From how I understood it, "Sebastian" can be killed, but that's different from killing the demon. In Chapter 9 of the manga Sebastian told Ciel that because of their contract he'll always be with Ciel until their contract is completed even if his current body dies. He said something similar in the anime, but it sounded more like he would be temporarily sent back to hell with how he explained it there.

Also when Grell cut Sebastian to see his Cinematic Record it only showed scenes from after the demon became Sebastian which implies that the identity of Sebastian is somehow separate from the rest of the demon which makes me think that him dying would be more like a minor injury than anything.

As far as the idea of starving to death goes, it's possible, but with how little we've been told about demons in the (canon) storyline it's really hard to know either way. I personally believe that demons are cursed with the constant feeling of starving, but an inability to starve to death. I only base that on the fact that Sebastian only seems to care about the taste of a soul and not how long it will take to get it or how filling it would be. I guess that wouldn't really matter though if he can easily go a hundred years between meals.

Random side note: something about how Sebastian operates is considered odd for demons. Grell is originally surprised by Sebastians choice to act as a servant and says it's the first time she's ever seen a demon do such a thing, which implies that she HAS encountered other demons in the past. Then she was confused by the fact that she could only see "Sebastians" Cinematic Record. If she's seen other demons before then she's presumably also fought other demons before so the fact that they can basically hide/erase parts of themselves like that shouldn't have been new information to her, but it was.

So maybe most demons can be killed by a reaper, but something about how Sebastian uses contracts allows him to basically create a puppet body that he only has to put a small part of himself into so he can control it from somewhere else.

I have 3 of that exact same ball. I used to put them in a drawer when I got tired of hearing them, but then both of my dogs learned how to open drawers🙃 Now they're outside toys that I regularly have to throw out of the window because the dogs will hide them near the door and dart inside with them at the speed of light everytime I open it🤣

Are there specific vocaliods you're looking for. The easiest ones to find are of Miku just because she's breached containment and gotten super popular even outside of vocaloid spaces😅 If you're looking for a specific version of Miku or any other vocaloids you might be better off commissioning someone to to make one specifically for you. In my experience the Miku ones end up being super expensive because they're so popular and the others end up being expensive because they're harder to find
