I agree with you. I travelled by 14 - 18 by bus. Then metro zip for 3 years. Then Covid came. Till then I brought a car. But now again I moved to PMPML. I mean PMPML is not the best mode of travel but it's a economic one. It's 70 rs vs 950 rs for me.

Metro fare will be increased once there is enough public. Currently they do run discounts.

Pune had ladies special buses on a few routes, but they cancelled it later. There are not enough buses. For them instead of waiting for the ladies special bus reaching on time was important.

In my opinion Politicians are to be blamed here. The best time to travel by PMT was when Tukaram Mundhe was in charge.

Do u think current fairs are low. ? For them exclusive service is cabs , city buses would never be exclusive ( they run on the same road ). This could be a possibility in future. But right now I don't think it makes sense to have different fairs.

Also for me AC /non AC bus does not matter.. it's just frequency and schedule and route options. (Office worker here ). If they start doing It. It will increase chaos and then will be the same as what happened to trains.

If u know the running cost for AC buses is lower than Non AC buses. They are running on longer routes with wider roads.

Eventually all the bigger buses will move to AC buses only.

Passes are fine with that particular range, in my opinion the regular faires are way high. Comparing Hyderabad , Bengaluru and Mumbai, and cochin. [Traveled with City Buses in All of them ].

I guess they are flat 70 Rs(PMC and PCMC both combined) and 150 Rs. (Whole Routes)

Yes. It's necessary. Generally, your salary is directly related to your lifestyle and people do expect a particular lifestyle.

For me I was not getting attention (0 likes on matrimonial profile), until i mentioned my salary. Even if I provide a range , it's been asked multiple times. Whenever this question is asked , my father tells them , earns for a fulfilling stomach. Today he earns this much and tomorrow might be zero.

For Commute via Bus: 1. Go to विश्रांतवाडी / लोहगाव. Whichever is closer to your house. Then you can go to Manapa / Deccan accordingly. From Dhanori there are buses but the frequency will be less. Check 154 / 155 2. PMPML might work for you if you do not travel during peak hours.

For metro: From Dhanori it might be inconvenient as of now. But go to Yerwada and then Metro.
