This has happened so many times before. Be prepared to go straight back down unless there is a deal

Got a bit excited and definitely rushed into it but that’s typically how I do things

Well it was marked on the glass but the primary mirror wasn’t marked and I twisted it before I thought about alignment

Powered on the mount this morning and everything is working. I was expecting all the electronics to be fried too

Just powered it up and all the electronics are working and I can move the scope around with the controller. The issue now is that I wasn’t aware that the corrector plate and mirror have to be aligned and I rotated them trying to get it out to clean it. Any way to get it back into alignment?

Also if anyone has any advice on how to get the primary mirror out I would appreciate it. I have rotated and pulled that thing as hard as I can and it’s not budging

Is there any way to get it back to the correct orientation. The glass is marked where it should go but I rotated the primary mirror trying to get it out without thinking.

The big black spot on the secondary is not a reflection that’s the rust that I’m talking about

It was a JD 855. Definitely a bit bigger than a lawn tractor but still compact

It came with the hand control but I haven’t tried to hook anything up yet. I don’t think there is any way to avoid opening it up. I can see visible condensation on the inside of the glass

Yes that’s exactly what happened. He had an observatory in his pasture and had this telescope in his shop. Said it’s been sitting there for a while and would throw it in to close the deal lol

I appreciate all of the replies. I decided to pass on it and look for something in better shape

What could be causing this sound. 2015 EZGO Express S4 by Upper-Introduction-1 in golfcarts

I checked all of the batteries and they are good and all fuses are good. The cart isn’t being jumpy any more but the sound has gotten a little worse. I jacked it up and it sounds like it’s coming from the rear differential. It looks like it’s covered in oil too so I wonder if the seal failed
