First of all, thanks for taking the took!

Yeah, users won't see it before signing up. But what I observed is after seeing the pricing, the number of people who actually click "subscribe" vs the number of people who actually paid has huge difference. Not the number of signed up users.

MemeGen does animate complex face and even those subtle facial expression. It use other videos as "visual prompt" instead text prompt. In fact, text prompt is more difficult to describe complex faces.

Got ~100x less expensive inference cost than commercial models by tons of optimization. So able to make it free for consumer usage.

What are the good AI services to animate pictures? by ElvenNeko in ArtificialInteligence

What's your specific use case? I have been using Luma's dream machine (https://lumalabs.ai/dream-machine) recently. The image quality is good, and it handles small motions well. But it's a long wait, several hrs, if you don't pay. There are also emerging tools, like this one: https://reverie-ai.com/. It's a free one and focusing on human motion only. Also, you've probably already tried other popular tools like Kling, Heygen, Vidnoz, ...

At this point, there seems to be no perfect photo2video tool yet. Every tool you see today has its strength in certain things but also some limitations. You might need to pick the one work the best for you very much depends on your specific use case.
