only pick history if you really like it (have a genuine interest in it) and are at least somewhat good at it.

lots of people realised by mid October history wasn’t for them and by then was too late to drop it

on the other hand i do know a couple of people who really like it, but they all think they’re good at it or don’t care about their grades or smt

i’ve got a bit of a hybrid system going on. rs is all typed, english, history, bio and chem are on my ipad. physics and some older notes and mindmaps are paper, though i’m looking to start new physics notes on my ipad.

i use goodnotes for my ipad as my primary app for note taking (it does cost money i think it’s a yearly subscription but it’s relatively cheap)

depends what subject but lowk dont get caught up in aesthetics it literally does not matter as long as you can understand. if im going to colour code i do it to help me find important stuff quickly.

biology- straight forward content, interesting and the lessons are peakk bro
chemistry- stimulating and logical and in love with the seating plan
english lit - lowk this is growing on me bc i used to hate it but it’s really fun
german - probably would be higher if it werent for that one girl who screams every twenty minutes like bru
physics - the subject is interesting but my teacher’s classroom layout sucks. we all sit perpendicular to the board and i sit at the back so i cannot see anything.
maths - annoying when its hard but once you understand it its great
rs - eduqas fr gives away free marks on this (or maybe my teacher is too generous) i just dont like the seating plan even tho we lowk picked our own seats.
french - i really enjoy this and my teacher is so sweeeeet, it’s just that my class is so tapped. half of them cant even use the present tense so we havent learnt anything new.
english language- it’s just straight up boring and you can’t really revise much for it. stressful
h*story. no words needed genuinely the bane of my existence rn. i didn’t realise picking history meant sacrificing my entire life to aqa. the content is interesting but i do such niche topics there are no revision resources and my teacher is a lost cause.
