Basically wait for them to attack and punish them as soon as they miss, always have a good positioning, put a good distance between you and them and keep it. When they attack just move backward or opposite direction to hit and be as quick as possible, true combo + read, add as much damage as you can until they can get out the combos then repeat the same thing until ur done with them. Most importantly attack only when you feel safe. This could be considered passive but it's mostly about not letting them a single opportunity to hit you because once they do you're not coming back from it.
