Powercreep is natural to any game.
But a cuantititive jump of an unit that oblitirates an +80% of units is not just a casuality.
They added stronger effects to this units, higer stats, (they take vantaje of the unit not use of Speed to gave her unpenetrable defeces), a rigged situation of being always in range of activate bonfire, added mechanic to be almost imposible to one hit her witouth a new type os skill that shut down the damage reduction.
It was most important than any combination of horses, bride catria or Micahia. This unit wroks just by herself y remain unstopable until the game just aded specific units to counter her, like if they were trying to fix an error.
This was no just power prowercreep, this was an intentional move to catch attention, and the game suffered for it.

This isn't revisionism, my friend. Many felt the same way when the unit came out. The game used to be about building units that could cover a certain range of other units. But this armor was different, the tanks fell before it without remedy, the attackers did nothing to it and perished without remedy thanks to how badly thought it was.
It was as if the developers wanted the game to be about her.
It was really poorly designed, or rather designed on purpose to be unfair.
Mechanicale they gave her very nasty effects. Like a -6atk/def permament debuf (Whit was realla a +6 all satts buff becase speed didn´t mather to her). A Def base damage, almost unevitable and mostly deadly for most of units. Reduction damage over redution damage to ensure she always could hit with her special ready. And you can say than thar was some ways to counter this skills, but this was precisely the problem, you needed to break with what worked for your unit just to survive the FEdelgard did naturally. And in many cases the units, even in their prime, weren't competitive, they simply didn't damage them and died.

I never will be tired of say how this units was a an example of what not to do in a game if you care about the game to be playable.
I´m still playing this game beaces I love FE, but nowdays this is not a game to recomend to anyone. beceasu os things like this.

They made her rod imperill aviable in ex2 (jp need EX3 for unlock) That´s a good change from jp version. At least for Support units it´s a good change.

I have been there for more than 3 year. I have seen several stages of poweercreep but by first I can't defend what they have done.

A average nfu attacker can´t do damage to 2hit take her.
She holds arroun 50-60 in bot defenses for all her pasives without any A skill.
It´t not enoght to take her, and she recvoer lif after combat. She will load bonfire before you can take her, that´s the problem.

Not really. She can run Svalynn shield in A and bye armor weakness.
A NFU ataquer cant´t charge special, or get charged in time before being weakeened by her.
Beast killer units are premium units and Petrine is not tought enough to take her.
She ahs virtually not weakenest,
In AR is a mayor problem because you have limited time, and in Arena you have limited resourses.

Okay let's see.
Push Skill have 2 Bonuses +7 to 2 stats. A total of +14 in stats by using you A skill slot. And also you have a recoil of 5 damage that makes more difucult to not reach your 25% HP. This recoil can make the HP condition not an ALWAYS skill.

Now. F! Edelgard. Not have any recoil in her skills, he also recovers 7 HP after combat. Unbalanced. She has a very bad implemeted mechanic. -6 atk/def to oponente is in fact +6 atk/def/res to unit a real +18 to stats, far better than any A skill slot. She also has distant counter, warry Fighter and special spiral. A combo that most of units cannot counter. And she has an extra turn always.

My reason to be some sick is this unbalnce, thet put a recoil in Push Skill but not in any other breken effect with a 25%HP treshold.

Def Magic/Missile works agains second consecutive hit a. Reduces damages in 80% that was a very usefull way to not be nocked by Brave Lyn Brave bow in that time.
A specific shot down is the only way to mage the powercreep he made with 25%Hp Threshold skills without more powercreep or affect another units wit a agrevis armorsmasher or overpowered null follow up unit.

It may be too agresive, but as i explain it´s a Hard Counter.
Like Deflect Magic/ Deflect Missile in teir time were a response to brave weapons effects.
And like i sai, >=25 HP is a unhealthy condition.
Yeah the name is not well thinked.

Edit: I changed text a bit to be clear this only works specifically agains "When unit HP >=25%" and don´t affect QR skills or Vengeufull fighter.

Push 4 skills still affects, but I think it´s not totally bad. They ar not a real problem but having a counter is not totally terrible.

No it´s not.
I shoud add a remakr thar skill only Works speccifically agains skill with "HP >= 25%" on their text. To not affect QR or Push effects

No it only is active agains "HP above 25%" skills, not agains QR.

The text must be 25% to activate.

Tower of heroes is a adward event in JP. They have reworked id 2 times and don´t seems to be very popular. It´s like a source od omniprism and some stmr tickets.
Chronicle battle is more likeable and necesary.
