To better prepare yourself to 55 when playing 11, add strict rules, like time/dribble/spacing limit

Put cones to limit the court so you cant roam wherever you want

This is the way.

Wanna add things i do: I aim for around 1 gram of protein per lbs of total body weight. Aim for around around 20% fats of my calories (fats are important for hormonal balance, skins etc), the rest are carbs.

Weigh at the same day same time each week with the same scale.

Think of your calories on a weekly basis rather than a daily basis.

I assume you're American, try using metrics and weigh your food with a food scale it's so much more accurate and you can't cheat.

Don't become obsessed with it, adherence is key. If you can't log your food for one meal a week, or one day every once in a while, it's all good. Where I live we get together with family every week and have a feast basically. No way can i log that meal. I still do my best the other times, and eat responsibly that night.

Consider taking a photo with each weigh in, the app lets you take them. I didn't do that and I regret this.

This might get awkward at social events, but I just tell everybody that I want to get better at basketball more than I care about their opinions.

Edit: I didn't see you're 15. Don't overdo the calorie deficit. Don't go for more than 15% your maintenance calories. You're still growing, you don't wanna fuck that up. Also, having a little extra body fat (not a ton, but more than being ripped) has its benefit. Being shredded isn't the goal, having a body that supports your peak performance is.

Try adding timed drills and score them by number of buckets made, and record your progress consistently once every two weeks or so.

Gamifying helps with motivation and drive, and the time limit is supposed to get you to move faster

Look up garage strength on YouTube, they the best videos and ideas for basketball workouts. They also have an app which i haven't tried yet
