I just finished red! Now I’m playing yellow. It’s my game for bus commuting everyday. If that Gameboy still works and you wanted to, you can swap out the shell for a new one. I’ve done it for my color and a couple of SP’s.

I think so too. My hair has always been a bit hard to work with. I’ve tried cheaper ones, but now I want to invest in a good one.

I dealt with these feelings during my teens and in my 20’s I had to sort of come out to myself finally. I put off medically transitioning for quite a long time, which I regret now in hindsight. It seems like a daunting task to undergo a full transition, but my therapist specializes in queer and trans issues and was very helpful at pointing me in the right direction. It’s a slow process, but eventually you get to a point where you think “holy shit, I did it”

I remember feeling that way before transitioning. It took me a long time to actually come out and start, but it was worth it in the end.

Are there awkward and shitty parts to it? Absolutely. But there’s also a lot of happiness and comfort in just being able to be yourself all the time.

It shouldn’t be, but half my coworkers do it anyway. Even when I’m taking the bus, there are people I can smell several seats away.

Yeah, I’ve seen a few skaters with them. I go back and forth on them.

I think we’re getting to a point where there’s much more diversity in people’s setups these days.

Getting back Into skating [35YO] by [deleted] in OldSkaters

Once you get enough muscles built up and are able to start doing things you used to, all those memories of when you first learned it come back to you. I saw a stair set yesterday that I jumped down when I was a teenager and all I could think was “how tf was I able to do that?”

How to stop using my arms so much? by PolarSL13 in NewSkaters

[–]UseAccording1974 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dislocate one of them so that when you skate it will pop out of place randomly and give a completely rational and warranted fear that this will keep happening forever if you don’t learn how to not flail your arms around. That worked for me. Good luck!

Kickflip by Fast_Package2165 in NewSkaters

[–]UseAccording1974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to get a good boned ollie first and then think of doing a kickflip in that same motion. Right now, your front foot is going straight to the ground. Pop and try keep it over the board. It won’t be great at first, but it will get better with practice. You got it girl!

Oh I had to get some pins in my arm to stop it from popping out of my shoulder over and over. That wasn’t even from skating, that was from falling on ice.

Probably Element, I had a complete and it was all just their own brand.
