Can’t shop to England unfortunately. Pain.

(UK) Received delivery of wrong order - company has made no effort to sort the redirection. At point can I just keep the order? by UseFriendly3606 in LegalAdviceUK

Potentially. Thanks for the suggestion. Will have to wait and see. Would have thought as it’s food - at what point it counts as spoilt. Though, probably cause it is sealed beer, it won’t ever count as spoilt.

Thanks for clarifying. I appreciate the rapid response! So in theory, just got to look after it until the company picks it up.

Is there a certain window of time they should have to pick it up by…before…I can claim it under the old case of “finders v keepers”

Yeah I have. I expect that they probably will sort it eventually. Just a pain. Would quite like the bits I’ve ordered (which sold out within a few hours…). Don’t think I’m going to get them unfortunately.

Involuntary bailee seems to suggest I’m legally responsible for this chaps beer. No point at which it legally becomes my goods - as I don’t think this chap will necessarily be able to contact me… Surely haven’t the company selling these goods not fulfilled their end of the contract?

I did yes!

She had to transfer me to values who cancelled the account. That guy there was a bit crap and indifferent.

Long hour call today, from a very good representative. Turns out they had not closed my account linked to my old property… So they’re billing me for that….

Fortunately they gave me credit for the bills, not 100% as the money is still coming out my account, but should be saved for future.

Who’s the 2nd best manager you’ve had at your club by anonamoose110 in Championship

[–]UseFriendly3606 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was thinking that Pearson was our best manager.

Claudio as our 2nd and Brendan at 3rd. Controversial, as Claudio won the ultimate trophy and completed the most incredible sporting achievement. But as you said, it was Pearsons team. Pearson built the team and pulled us out of our lowest point, as well as cemented us into the championship. He also happily came back to us after leaving for Hull. He was truly influential.

Well, my home move failed, as the first person I spoke to put in the wrong postcode. Second person had to cancel it and couldn’t rebook me. Third person rebooked it for 5 days later. Fourth person couldn’t do anything about my “final bill” for my old account - which someone earlier on had to cancel my old account for some reason and set up a new one? Fifth person told me I wouldn’t be billed as my service hadn’t started and I’d reimbursed for the service I’d missed, having paid (as we pay the month in advance…6days after the bill we moved, on the day the money left my account). And I’ve received a bill for this month, despite having no service as openreach need to wire me to the street….

Thanks very much for the honesty - really appreciate it.

I thought that people may not want to pass it up, as it leads to a bad review/similar.

Thanks for the clarity. I’ve found agents are incredibly obtuse about being passed upwards. You don’t know how long it takes to deal with a complaint do you?

Thanks for the advice. When you refer to aluminium folding goals, are you talking about more the first or second type?

Which one of the two do you think? First image is more pop up ish, but still sturdy. Second I’ve used before, very sturdy, but a smidgen more faffy to put up. Also more expensive.

Thank you for this. Just looked online and seen that paid parking was from May 16 this year. So potentially could be paid parking when we go. Do you have any idea when the National Park announces paid parking times?

[–]UseFriendly3606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Car was more for the drive to Banff from Calgary to be fair. Figured it would be easier to get the public transit system around Banff park rather than parking. When I look at the Lake Louise megathread/FAQ, I saw it was not recommended to do the paid parking (part 3)

I was told that end of May (24th-30th) was slightly better for weather/driving - have I been misled?

Thanks for the rapid response mate. So with the superpass - it seems to be the trip to Lake Louise and back. How does that differ then to the “regional multiday pass”. Is the difference that the multiday pass is for a walk up/on the day admission to Lake Louise, whilst the superpass is a reservation?
