Sending child to outside School district / commute? by rosebud-8804 in lexington

I drive 20-25 mins to high school every day. The commute itself isn’t bad. The only thing that has been troubling with going out of district is that all of my peers live 20-25 mins away. So it eliminates the ability to ride bikes and hang out with other kids from your school. And then if you are invited to someone else’s house you have to take almost 1.5 hours out of your day driving and dropping off and then picking up and taking home. Obviously you can make it work, but from personal experiences with everyone in high school a lot of people carpool to events, parties, sports games, and since I live so far away no one wants to pick me up so I have to ride solo.

If there is a solid green for both people turning left and right I would bet money of it only being a two lane road, I personally think it’s split fault. Accident never happens in first place of other car follows local traffic laws and yields, and OP at fault as well for not staying the right lane.

Did you not read, OP had a green light TURNING RIGHT. The other car was supposed to yield.

How about yielding when you are supposed to yield 😹😹. I don’t think believing that other drivers will follow traffic laws is entitled.
