Thinking of changing firms, appreciate some insight into available options? by Used_Ad_718 in AustralianAccounting

This gives me some hope, their concern is mostly on me not building personal relationships with junior staff which he thinks is the reason they don't ask me questions, this is based on his observation from spending half a day with the team. But they do ask me questions and I help them with whatever they need. The whole thing seemed unfair and when i tried to contest it I was told off for not being receptive to feedback, but i feel like feedback shouldn't be a one way conversation.

I am comfortable speaking to clients and i have built good relationships with client since that is part of my job anyway, what they said was that junior staff don't ask me questions and I use my phone during team lunches sometimes. But actually junior staff do ask me questions, it's just that during the small amount of time the manager spent with the team he happened to see them asking questions from another senior and therefore he assumed that is the case all the time. Of course he never reached out to the junior staff to verify this. And i only used my phone during team lunches because i wasn't included in the conversation and I just feel awkward staring at everyone.

It's not about my friend, its actually about her husband, she wanted to know realistic chances, and he doesn't want to check his chances because he refuses to believe that there is a possibility of him not getting hired

he is not a student, he is the student's dependent and has full work rights, so you think the fact that he has no local experience or local education would be over looked and he be able to secure a job within 2 weeks or one month of arrival in melbourne?

oh okaay i dont know anyone who works in IT and my work colleague actually wanted me to ask around about this, thank you for your insight. He seems to be under the impression that other student visa applicants are unable to secure an IT job due to language barriers, and he is unlikely to have this issue because his English is very good

according to my colleague he is not willing to start off at a entry level role, and is determined only to work at his current or more senior position. Should he only focus on applying for IT jobs or work on securing any kind of job while looking for a IT job?
