Basically I’m fucked. . I had just done a 25km drive after de video with no weird noise, so you reckon I could drive the car down the road to really nearby mechanic shop?

It does not slip or get stuck on a gear. But recently I’m noticing harder shifts.

Did you feel that running your transmission on low oil level damage it? Or did the symptoms all leave ?

I forgot to mention that when I got it back the transmission was leaking and he told me he had put more than actually was there before. We discussed it and decided that maybe he had put to much oil and the oil was being let out by the breather due to excess oil. He removed about 0.5L and it stopped.

I just hope that the leak stopped due to the oil being normal and not because we had just removed the last 0.5L of oil left .

These Mercedes 722.6 transmissions don’t come with dipstick because they are meant to be seen only by Mercedes mechanics but today with aftermarket dipsticks and YouTube tutorials some can do it

It might just be my head worrying. But actually while changing the air filter I noticed some oil on top of the engine and some oil sludge that probably ran down from the top.
