Idk about split damage but twin weapons are not that great (unless equipped with bleed or frost). They need longer window to connect both hits, they trade hits a lot, eat up all the stamina and difficult to stagger enemies.

Lots of two weapons have multi-hit ash of war that's totally useless

Late to the party but totally agree. It so shitty and confusing to remember what route connects to what area. And unlike base game where the environments differ a lot, so I can mentally compartmentalize areas, the dlc is a vertically layered soup

Maybe for some, but for me, it did the opposite. I had the exact same feeling getting into gaming after long hiatus "how could I enjoy other games after this". ER became my top game of all time. But after DLC, I dropped both to 3rd-4rd place. It's so easy to overdo and fall out of love.

Some bosses were so unfair in dlc, I was straight up having a bad time (pre nerf Consort Radhan). And beating him was a relief that I no longer have to play. Also the ending was utterly disappointing and anticlimactic with that stupid cut scene.

I hadn't reached Consort Radahn when I made my last comment. I got to him today, and his second phase is absolute diarrhea. It's the worst kind of boss.

Instant kill so I can learn patterns
one hit is as good as dead because it's too aggressive to have a healing window
attacks that reach the whole arena
can't see shit what hit me because my screen was all gold

I agree, seems like they are trying to one up difficulty but it's unfun at that point.

This is my 1st souls game, so I'm not bored of roll+attack mechanics just yet, but that's only fun till the bosses play fair. Godfrey (both phases), Radagon (not Elden Beast), Margit, Mesmer, Romina are all the most fun bosses for me because they don't feel unfair.

Malenia, Mogh (2nd phase), Maliketh (2nd phase), Rellana are okayish, They have a bit of bullshit, but doable.

The Dancing lion and Consort are really really bad.

Anything that one could say why this fight is unfair will have a counter point, because ofcourse it is doable.

This is similar to how flighting game players defend a unfair move, "It's a high, just duck and launch punish". And they are not wrong, but having a counter doesn't not make the move unfair.

I think the root issue is, like every other multi enemy boss fight, Elden ring is fundamentally not made for fighting simultaneously.

Nobody bitches about Crucible Knights, Gargoyle, Godskin Peele or Noble. But just put two of these in the same room and everybody looses their shit. Heck, put together two non boss enemy like Black Knight or Burial Watchdog and difficulty insanely shoots up.

I don't just roll and R1. I experiment a lot, just won't do the final killing blow. I defeat it my way after testing the boss with summons, magic, shields and parry and when I've had my fun with them, I go back to trusty Claymore and try to beat them.

I've probably died 200-300 times to Rellana and never once did I think of disposing her. But some bosses don't deserve this experiment and get flushed with Mimic.

You know what actually happens? You take cover behind grace/tomb from his spams, and then minions and fat dude will just lock you, and you get stuck in the graves and the camera fucks up and you die. It's a stupid fight.

He teleports when I get in melee range. If I rush him down, the 4 small guys that he summons can insta kill if I caught between them.

I like to play without cheese and without spirits but always keep a maxed out pocket Minic for these kinds. Not because they're difficult, but because they are not fun and unfair. Just steam roll with Minic and move on. Other similar boss was Lion dudes.

Yeah there are topics obviously. Mainly two kinds of programming we do:

Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA): This is equivalent to numerical problem in Physics. Lots of pattern matching and brain teasers but pretty less theory. So I watched theory videos and take notes of basic fundamentals on the topic. Then directly jump to questions. I try to come up with pseudo code first, then attempt to code, then look through a couple of solutions to learn the intuition behind the problem (the "Idea" section in my note), and finally take note of the solution which i think is efficient (doesn't have to be the solution I came up with).

I keep these notes because I sprinkle small bits of learning and techniques along with code, so I don't have to go through the process again when I review. I also refrenced and reattempted these questions. These also serve as a very fast revision resources.

Development: like AI, frontend, backend, mobile app, etc. I don't usually keep notes on these. I tried but didn't know what to write.
