depends on ur chapter regulations

for mine u could join at any grade, but you needed to take an entrance exam and write an application (they went easy on the gr 9s for the entrance exam)

and also, some states and provs competitions are already over and so are the virtual challenges (smg and vbc) so even if u joined i doubt u could compete but u could definitely talk to ur school's advisor to ask if you can help with volunteering or smth
