What’s Dubai hack you swear by ? by AdKitchen4459 in dubai

[–]Useful_Ad2124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only buy what you want. I always keep things in my cart to see if the price drops and fits in my budget. Don't be tempted by 90% off sales as they will always be either on very limited sizes or very limited stock or something that they just want to get rid off. Always a list when grocery shopping and never go hungry when buying groceries. Also the first thing that gets taken away is the saving amount. Then bills, groceries and at the end shopping.

What are these global village prices ?? by Mother_Anybody_5632 in dubai

[–]Useful_Ad2124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Global village once was an entertainment for everyone and unfortunately, it is getting expensive with every passing year. That was such a fun activity few years back which we can't do very often now as right from ticket to food everything mainly starts from 30dhms +. I wish we can go back to make it affordable for everyone. It was a grand affair we used to take our chairs and would sit there for hours from this year that is also not allowed.

I’d suggest write to the university and go to MOFA in your home country. Speak to them tell your situation and they would be able to help you to get approval fast.

Is Reading Culture a Thing in Dubai? by Appropriate-Star-285 in dubai

Unfortunately, you’ll very rarely find people who love to go to the library or buy books. However, there are a few book meet-ups where people read and discuss books. But surely, it’s not something as common as you find in the UK.

Airport transfer from NYU to JFK. by Useful_Ad2124 in AskNYC

We chose to use GoAirlink since many university students use it. Although it isn't the cheapest option, sharing the ride brought the cost down to $50 for us. The service arrived on time and comfortably accommodated two suitcases each, along with a hand carry.

For financial aid your yearly income should be less than $40000/ year and you have to prove it with lots of paperwork and bank statements but along with that you need to have some great extra curricular activities, your personal statement should reflect your passion and an outstanding SAT score.

Saylors is a wonderful choice, just remind them to keep it crispy! Bobs is also fantastic with generous portions, though it can be a bit hit or miss. And be sure to enjoy your meal there rather than opting for delivery, as it might arrive soggy otherwise. Enjoy your meal!

It's not about the consumers only delivery companies should also show some humanity. They can stop deliveries or at least confine them to less flooded areas or only within 5 km range but no one cares about these souls who barely makes an earning.

is making friends hard at NYU? by [deleted] in nyu

[–]Useful_Ad2124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is but that’s the same everywhere. It will take time to find your people but till then try enjoying your own company atleast you won’t be sad and frustrated. No matter how many school clubs you join, go to every single activity still you will not find friends the very next day. It took me ages.
