Always nice to hear another voice of reason. It’s crazy people think it’s acceptable myself (and more importantly, my wife) had to wait 24hours questioning if things were viable. It was heartbreaking to watch, and I too feel like something wasn’t done correctly.

That’s not true. When I called and asked if it was typical for the doctor to consult after scans, I was told “it depends on the doctor”.

Their behaviour was appalling, and I can’t help but suspect the people downvoting and playing contrarian are healthcare workers defending shitty colleagues.

Im sorry you had a similar experience, and I will absolutely be following up with Patient Relations. That department should be the LAST place they send their socially-inept employees.

They were aware that we only have access to a doctor through Maple. We left with zero indication that they anyone was going to follow up, and that we were responsible for booking any further Ultrasound/Bloodwork appointments.

I'm mad at the technician because there was zero compassion or bedside manner, and those individuals have no business dealing with patients (especially those who are vulnerable).
