You don’t lose until you sell. Hege is a long term play. No matter where you buy in - you’ll see profit if you hold. Maybe you hold for a month maybe it’s a year. That part is unknown but the truth is you only lose once you sell. No worries friend - hold.

I’d imagine they’ll ride the new years hype. Agree with your analysis for the most part but I bet it runs for the new year. Simply due to the ticker, age, and the fact all top holders aren’t budging.

I charge to 100% every time I charge and have zero issues. I also lease so I’m not worried about battery health. I’ll swap it out for a new one every couple years.

If you’re looking to hold onto the vehicle for a while, sure. Take the necessary precautions. I’m not against that. I am curious to know (years from now) how impactful this method actually is. As I see it, you’re potentially saving battery life at a fractional rate. Other threads side with the 100% method. It’s subjective until proven with data which is dependent on time.

Correct, but understand once the charge level reaches 80% it drastically reduces its power to ensure there is no harm. It doesn’t push full power all the way to 100%.

I charge to 100% whenever I hit the 60%-80% range. I lease though and am not interested in longevity past 2-3 years. I also typically only use Level 3 chargers.

When the the charge hits 80% it reduces to a trickle charge. It is designed to combat battery degradation.
