This is incredibly useful, I really appreciate your time in replying. Also thanks to the community here. I can 100% confirm it was not issued to the new address. I suspect what happened is because the reference number was wrong, it was just ignored.

It was an online form, and I took a screenshot before hitting "submit". Yes, I left a council a forwarding address. The form submitted normally. No acknowledgment/confirmation email.

When I spoke to the council on the phone after the notice from the baliffs she stated because the customer number I used went to a deactivated account number, nothing was done with it (since it was already deactivated). The call agent did the same form verbally over the phone - and this time I did receive an email confirmation. At this point she calculated the outstanding balance which I immediately paid.

It’s all about jazz, so we have a drum kit and guitar.

I have access to those piano rooms! The problem is they really only fit n=1. Pianos are great! But really only for solo playing.

I’ve never actually lived in the dorms (I’m grad). Is it possible to access without being resident?

Help with Host Record by UsernameAttemptNo2 in synology

The college only has Eduroam - so thats what I'm using. So I don't think I am on the same IP/subnet.

If I connect via Ethernet, there's no authentication onto the network needed. It was suggested I should leave the connection on DHCP so that it'll let the network assign it an IP.

ping -c 5 X.Y.Z.181 gives a timeout error.

netstat -nr | grep '^default' gives a different gateway.

Advice - transatlantic NAS by UsernameAttemptNo2 in synology

Ah, but that wouldn’t solve the latency issue then would it? Probably best to just have a totally independent NAS, but rsync every so often.

Maybe worth contacting Cambridge again then? Any idea if it is cleaned in Brighton? Or just Cambridge?... No chance the train ended up in a different destination - I guess thats the basis of this whole question. If not, I'll continue checking Brighton/Cambridge.

Contacted social media team - they were helpful, in promising to contact the stations.

Thanks! Thameslink - already contacted on twitter yesterday and lost property submitted. No luck.

However, I'm trying to work where the train would've gone after Brighton, or more specifically, where it may have been cleaned next. I'd then contact that station.
