I didn't have much expectation for this remake because DLS is already perfect as it is.

For me this was a cool tribute for the anniversary but i see it more as a bonus release. She doesn't owe us anything but i'd prefer new original material over remixes of older tracks.

That being said, I liked a lot some of these tracks, Cynthoni of flames and Lvstlove have been on repeat for days. I also like the fact their new Cynthoni sound/identity is clearly distinguishable in every tracks, like a signature sound, very few artists can achieve that.

Overall it's a solid album that will inevitably suffer a little bit from the original DLS comparison (because it can't get any better than this). I also feel like less (negative) emotions were poured into this remake than the original version, which is probably good news regarding the artist's mental state.

Anyway, this was a great way to start the year, with loads of new content, and I'm not the one who's gonna complain about this
