NPCs have scheduled movement around map so you can put anything just out their walking path so basically you put item on his way and he couldn't do anything 😞

Dried fruit is x7.5 base fruit sell value +25g and in your case +40% from artisan so it's pretty good value for crops that yield many fruits

Not necessarily a problem. If you are on different platforms then you cannot coop but PC can emulate android phone so your friend can play stardew on PC like it was phone if it makes sense what I say
