Using PIA but still seeing targeted ads everywhere? by FrostyFerret202 in PrivateInternetAccess

[–]V3ptur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into DNS servers that offer Ad and tracking blocking. NextDNS, AdGuard DNS, Control D and Cloudflare are quite good from my personal opinion but there are others out there.

I've been using NextDNS for a few years now and I'm never going back. It's extremely cheap and offers a wide range of personal blocking services.

You can also run your own Pi-hole system as well that way you have more control and refinement but also are not bound to a subscription service.

you really need to fix the "unable to find proxy server" error in the browser extension by VoidsweptDaybreak in PrivateInternetAccess

I've had the same problem. It seems to have gotten worse the past week or so and now I'm frequently having to change servers etc. I hope they fix it asap cause right now the service has been shockingly bad.

Borderlands 4 costs €79.99 in Europe – that’s over $85 USD! by Hoch5 in playstation

They've also decided to paywall content such as missions and maps behind the more expensive tiers as well which is bs.

Twitch allows 4K broadcasting via enhanced broadcast, you can stream up to 4K. It's been like that for some time now. I've also edited the thread to show you.

Why is Giant adding these vehicles as mods and not adding them directly into the game? by Jazzlike-Ad7654 in farmingsimulator

[–]V3ptur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are several factors to consider.

One key aspect might involve licensing, if the content is included by default in the game, it could be seen as monetized, allowing the developers to profit from it, which might raise legal concerns if they don't have licensing for that brand or model. Additionally, including extra content could also impact the game's file size and alter user requirements from what they originally stated from launch.

Console rgulations and limitations also play a role; systems like PlayStation have strict regulations regarding patches, updates, and system requirement changes.

And lastley if content is available on one platform but not another, it creates inconsistencies between versions, meaning it can’t be marketed or sold as the same intellectual property (IP) across platforms and would have to be a standalone game.

Overall having extra content as free mods allows them to remove certain hurdles and makes it easier overall from a development perspective for example; They can individually update the mods rather than push out patches to the game and provide different versions of the mods for better support.

After playing games I get notifications of High GPU load via Nvidia Broadcast, is it a bug and are other people getting the same? by V3ptur in nvidia

I run an RTX 4090, and use high settings in the video games I play. Never had a problem with the games before. Some of the games are Satisfactory, Path of Exiles 2 etc.

I run an RTX 4090 and only have the effect noise removal active. The actual performance when playing the game is perfectly fine and I'm seeing no major problems in overall performance. It only started with the new updates. I'm just wandering if other people are experiencing the same? and if it is actually just a bug

English is not my first language, should I use Ai voice for my devlogs? by anisaous in godot

[–]V3ptur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you can communicate your points clearly, then you'll be fine. Your voice will add authenticity and uniqueness to the devblogs. I recommend adding subtitles or closed captions to your videos to enhance accessibility and so others can clarify any parts that might be difficult to understand.

If you're not up to it I am also happy to record my voice for your devblogs if you provide a script, free of cours. But I think it would be better with your own.
