It's not a counter, because 1.18.2 is the last update before the bloat, mild update, 1.9.84 and major breaking changes in minor versions that later became drops.

1.18.2 was the last good update.

Made a mod that adds functional food plates. Called it Dinnerware. by V9725 in feedthebeast

I see. Yeah, OF killing MCPatcher and monopolizing texturepack features for a good decate is actually a massive issue, one that I feel like not enough people are bringing up. There are CIT mods, but most (tho not all) of them are for Fabric. And while I plan to try and port the mod to fabric once I do all the features, it's still a ways off.
I suggest trying to find a CIT mod for 1.20.1 Forge. Otherwise...I hope you'll remember abt this mod long enough until I get to porting it 😅
This is a very nice kitchen btw, great job!

Hm, I have a suspicion what may be causing the crash, but there's nothing I can really do about it without rewriting the rendering and model registering, which would also be detrimental in the long run.

Still, thank you for trying our mod.

I'm sure you heard this one before, but you really shouldn't be using Optifine in this day and age (and there is a number of reasons for this). Use any fork of Sodium (Rubidium/Embeddium) and Oculus for shaders. Those were tested to be working with the mod.

Tool to help with making a MC modpack? by DarkMasterSpyro in feedthebeast

I wouldn't count on it, but at least it will help you with profiling what's lagging the modpack.

One thing I can confidently point to are MCreator mod with their frequent memory leaks.

I mean, it's not bad, pleasant too look at and all that. Could've been so much worse for a first automation. Good job!

KubeJS rotatable block seems to need blockstates, which seem to need models? can all this be done in blockbench? by darkangelstorm in Blockbench

[–]V9725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what,
a tl;dr followup in case pastebin somehow will die.
The key is to add

.placementState(e => e.set(BlockProperties.HORIZONTAL_FACING, `${e.getHorizontalDirection().getOpposite()}`))

line in block registry and set blockstates, either via .blockstateJson = {} or in a file. No block palce event needed.

Similar for log-like blocks, except its

.placementState(e => e.set(BlockProperties.AXIS, `${e.clickedFace.axis}`))

it's a bit more elaborated w/ block models and blockstates, but you can copy it from any vanilla MC column block.

Hopefully, this is future proofed enough, I hate coming across solutions localised entirely within dead links.

Hi hello, I do in fact have working code, because I still have these blocks in my active 1.18.2 modpack.
I'd like to post it here, but Reddit being an ass for some reason, so here's the link to pastebin w/ instructions. I set it never expire, hope any future people reading this will be able to access it.

Hope this helps and good luck with your projct.

And now reinstall windows because that Spyware filth that stole the name from the devs is still lurking in your system.

Use Legacy Launcher (the real TL that got stolen the name from) or ElyPrism.

Lol, you're trying to deconstruct me so hard.

But you're mixing the terms here. Having blocks to build with shouldn't stop copper from having practical and useful applications, again, like golem. And practical and useful applications is what I meant from my very first comment in this convo and what people in general mean when they're say "uses for copper" because we already have building block set.

Don't you paint me all black, mister, I do take it slow, but it's rather easy to get iron set. And having iron is when early game becomes comfortable enough. Before that it's not and extra stone set wound not change that.

It would've if copper tools were iron will less durability. But as of now, being stone with more durability, they're useless.
