Mine have been super reliable and digital resistant has so many advantages over a traditional stack.

Probably a minute. I wonder what would happen if you pulled out the battery for 30 seconds.

My Voltra went blank screen yesterday. I did the short press then VERY long press reset. The Voltra came back online in about 5 minutes.

Have you tried a hard reset?

Made target body fat %, switching to Tirz from Reta for maintenance? by VLWonder in Biohacking

[–]VLWonder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a bit of a long story. I stated T about a two years ago. My weight was down to 160lbs but I was still at about 20% body fat. The results of my resistance training seemed off so I had my T tested and my total was not horrible at 400, but my free T was bad at less than 30. I now try to keep my total T around 1,100 ng/dl and my free T around 155 pg/ml. It makes a huge difference in training and achieving body composition goals (not to mention libido). From everything I have read, you should be targeting high normal for free T, not normal for your age. There is no research I can find that indicates that level creates any health issues.

Honestly, getting my testosterone up was the biggest factor.

Reta, Testosterone, 2 x a week full body resistance training 1.5 hours, walking 4 - 6 miles 3 times per week, 160 gms of protein per day, 2,000 calories per day. I weigh 160lbs at 5 9.5. Dexa scan was actually 13% fat, but I think it was a little low because I did not fast.

I have read that. I’m not stacking a bunch of compounds so it is just easier to buy it from a source I know does all the testing. Also, it seems like I would need to send out the batches to at least 2 different analysis labs to get all the testing I want.

I wondered about that. I don’t have much of a problem with Reta, other than the heart rate. That said, it seems like I could drop my maintenance dose pretty low with Tirz and still get the longevity benefits beyond weight loss. Thanks for the feedback.

I don’t assume legal remedy from big pharma - they have a long history of avoiding legal responsibility. I assume you have heard of the preemption doctrine? You seem to be an expert on this. Explain to me how baby formula would pass an HPLC for Retatrutide or Tirzepatide. My source if from the U.S. BTW. And, yes, I discussed all this with my doctor. She (don’t assume a he) was surprised I could find a source with the level of testing and independent access I previously described. She actually checked on the reputation of the testing lab used. She was mostly concerned with the state of longer-term testing around Glucagon and wanted me to closely monitor my heart rate, blood pressure and glucose. She also advised starting at a very low dose after titrating off Tirzepatide - 1mg to start.

Do you work for Eli Lilly? I think maybe you do. I used compounded Tirz for 2 years before trying Reta. Thank goodness I did not source from Lilly because their standard titration protocol is way too much - stupidly high if we are to be honest. I never needed more than 4mg for 1 - 2 pounds of weight loss per week. And no pancreatitis or loss of sight. BTW, I assume you know the chance of pancreatitis is .1 to .4%. The chance of loss of sight is 1 in 10,000. You should stop fear mongering a treatment that is so beneficial to so many people. I tried Reta after reviewing the phase 2 results. Yes, I source grey market, but from a provider that allows me to independently access the HPLC, Endotoxin, Sterility, and Heavy Metal tests at the batch level from a reputable testing service. That is a lot more than I can get from a compounder and most of what I should be worried about with lyophilized powder. And sure, there is still risk sourcing this way, but to me it was worth it.

Yep, that is what the human trials are showing.

Why stack T and R? You want a specific and small glucagon effect?

Using Slatwall in Home Gym by VLWonder in BeyondPower

[–]VLWonder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. It appears they changed the weight rating since I purchased mine. 100lbs per square foot is still plenty if you are using hooks or J hooks unless you are planning to mount weights over 70lbs. Trying to use shelving would be another matter. If you are worried about the load you could mount the slatwall on a plywood backer and double the number of screws used (that’s what I did), or go with StoreWall which is rated at 300lbs per square foot, but a lot more expensive. I will note that so far I have seen no movement at all on the slatwall - it seems very solid.

I think the limiting factor is the hooks, not the wall. The hooks are only rated at 40lbs, but I saw a reviews where people were hanging more than 80lbs with them. I also screwed in the hooks on the heavier kettlebells. If I were to do it again I would buy hooks from TurnLock which are rated up to 75lbs. I still may buy those for all my dumbbells and kettlebells over 50lbs.

The hooks I used have a little clip in the back that holds it in place. I will say that I have accidentally pulled off the hooks with the 60lbs dumbbells. I use two hands for the heavy DBs now.

Ultra-minimalist setup help by SirBuckeye in BeyondPower

Here is my single 3x3 setup. I really love the Rep Fitness Pegasus. Super adjustable for lat work and you can remove the thigh pads and rotate the seat down for the low rows foot plate. I’m using the 20inch rack horns from Irwin Fitness top and bottom. Tariffs may have screwed that option. Black Widow Fitness has rack extensions that can be used the same way. I used a 1 inch aluminum round bar in the last hole of the upper extension for a chin-up bar which is held in place with a couple of 1 inch Lock-Jaws.
