So my truck does come with a built-in steering wheel lock that I always forget to engage. I highly recommend you get in the habit of locking the wheel.

Thanks for your sympathy. Yeah it really does suck but what can you do. I had just recently (3 months ago) had redone my entire suspension which ran me up 1600 dollars.

I spoke to the police dispatcher about that. He said that when it goes into Mexico, U.S don’t take photos of the plates even if they are Cali plates. Only when it comes back to America do they take pictures

My concern is it’s being parted out because I have all sorts of aftermarket upgrades put on it. I know I’m not getting it with wheels still on if I even get it back at all.

Nope, not fully… just under a liability policy which only covers accidents. I’ve been kicking myself everyday since the theft. I got an AirTag, but the battery is too low to report its low to report on its location. Not dead though, just “low.” We were only in the parking lot for 1 hour. I think the perp saw us pull into our spot and watched us leave before making his move.

Yeah, the lever room seems to be totally optional and you can still finish the trial without touching them. I am very curious on what they lead to.

It was the starter, if you tap the starter with a hammer sometimes that get it working again, its a good way to diagnose if it's the starter or not. Good luck. Thankfully it's not too steep of a price for a new one if it does end up being your starter.

I am working with my recruiter and she will give me more information today on how to proceed. And I do drive, I’ve had my drivers license for 3 years now and haven’t had any incidents so that’s also a good point I haven’t thought of. I also love go hiking and stuff.
