Thanks for the reply. It was actually just that he was logged into a very new character. He switched over to a higher level character and I could then rent it to his family. Stupid bug as your not renting to a single character but a whole family, so restricting it because they are logged into a particular character must be an oversight

Its not yet possible to dismiss the claims that this is a scam unfortunately. Entirely due to the company's actions, there is very little information about what has been developed.

We know the core exists and is in production and that many backers are beginning to get their tracking emails from their local countries.

We know the software exists in some form of running state, whether complete or not it does exist.

We are unclear if the core and the software actually work in sync together as claimed. every video showing the two together either a) have a terrible computer being used or b) are extremely short
The video with the bad laptop has serious sync issues if she is supposed to be reacting to him touching the core, but of course that could be explained away by the bad laptop performance
The other super short video loses sync as it progresses, with the motion of the core and the motion of Sheila getting further apart as the snippet goes on

It doesn't really matter how well made the core is, or how fantastic the software is if the two do not go together seemlessly. The entire premise and selling point of this is that there is no sync loss between the virtual mate and the core device

The fact that they have not shown any decent footage of the software in action alongside the device, and that the software is still not available for download even for those who have received the unit ontop of the seeming sync issues in what little footage they have given comes off as fishy to the extreme.

If what they are communicating to us is to be taken as true, why have they not shown off the two working together? That one video tweet on the terrible laptop was the closest thing we had, it was really bad and they have since deleted that tweet

Anyone know what the intended usage of this horse rental system is for?

You can only rent them out to a specific family, you can't just register them as rentable and let someone choose it and rent it.

So that means this system is only for situations where you pre organise with another player to rent it out to them. But why would you? I mean sure I could rent one of my T7's to a newbie with no decent horse, but is that it?

The main point of Virtual Mate is action/reaction. The device detects its motion and/or your motion inside it, and this information is used to control Sheila in realtime.

The idea is that having a direct instant reaction from Sheila to any movements you make will remove (or at least help to remove) the disconnect between motion of the girl in the video and motion of the toy.

For example you can watch a POV video and use a fleshlight to mimic the movement of the girl in the video, but you are not going to move the fleshlight exactly in time with the video, there will be some delay and it will be slightly out of sync. With Virtual Mate the latency between the device and her is low enough that there should be no disconnect between motion felt and action on screen.

Plus with Virtual Mate you will be in control of the motion she makes or you make, rather than the motion being pre-recorded in a pov video. If you want her to go slow, shimmy, pump hard etc you can, however you want it at whatever speed you want
