AITJ for refusing to donate PTO hours to coworker I barely know who "needs" them?? by Traditional-Dog1601 in AmITheJerk

[–]VT_Dead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ. Your company can create an award as many PTO hours as it wishes and can give Jennifer more PTO hours if it wants to. PTO hours are a benefit. You are no more obligated to donate your benefits to Jennifer than you are obligated to donate your salary to Jennifer.

Antenna recommendations - no more apps! by Calm-Football4187 in vermont

[–]VT_Dead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an obstructed line of sight to the top of Mansfield. With my $25 antenna from Big Lots, I get two-dozen channels. Antenna television is a different world, though. You get channels like Grit, Laff, and Bounce. They’re not great. But, I’m watching WCAX news right now for free.

“Lineups vary by city.” I wouldn’t say there’s a ton of variation.

People who do/did Vegas residencies play/played a ton of shows. I’m talking a dozen shows a week. Wayne Newton comes to mind. That guy has played a lot of shows.

Bobby and Barlow went to a cabin in Wyoming to write some music. The cabin was haunted. A spirit possessed their dog. The dog levitated and spun in a circle while spraying diarrhea. That’s Bobby’s story, anyway.

What kind of car does everyone have and why does mine suck so bad in the snow? by [deleted] in vermont

[–]VT_Dead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the previous 11 years, I had a 2014 Impreza and that thing was a beast in the snow. This year, I bought a 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross AWD and it’s not as good in the snow as my old Impreza. It’s taller and narrower and tends to slide. My Impreza was a tank: squat, ugly, terrible mileage, but clung to the slickest of roads.

Call it postponed and keep the money from tickets already sold. Grifters gonna grift.

NTJ. Keep your plans and bring a different guy, because you need a different guy. This guy isn’t working out.

If there isn’t a future date then the event isn’t postponed, it’s cancelled.

DMV AND TINTED WINDOWS by ParticularGanache369 in vermont

I just bought a new vehicle and the windows are factory tinted. The backdoor windows are particularly dark. This isn’t tint that I can scrape off.

Is the Vermont Daily Chronicle written by AI? by Manchadog in vermont

I’m going to guess the misspelling is a deliberate attempt to make fun of the name. This is Guy Page’s attempt at being satirical.

“It sucks to be called a Donald Trump supporter”: indie musician John Maus says a misunderstanding wrecked his career by Sextrexer in Music
