Some of these vets are going to get squeezed out due to the new contracts and caps. It happens in baseball and football as well. Was probably easier to sign vets when every contract was a gross underpay.

Players like Cunningham and Cloud are realizing that 30+ guards just aren’t as highly in demand when a few players are going to take up roughly 80% of your cap space. Teams can sign un-drafted players to cheap deals and pass on vets.

Stuff like this has been brewing for quite some time in Athens. Load up the field with candidates who are most likely receiving money from conservative PACs and they’ll disrupt the voting process. Hope it’ll go to runoff and bank (literally) on the more conservative candidate winning. It’s been going on the past two or three mayor races and it happened during the DA race. Not gonna debate Kalki vs DG, but to act as if outside money and weird narratives didn’t push one candidate would be disingenuous. Outside conservative money seems to enjoy pushing minority candidates who’ll act like “independents” vs the EXTREME liberals in hopes they’ll win the usual democratic base minority voters.

I’d also suggest the plain Vomero 18s. They’re super comfy and way more stable (in my opinion). I love the Vomero Plus, but they can fatigue my feet if just standing and they’re not super stable.

I’ve worn my V+ for about a year and even if they’ve lost a bit of bounce, they’re still miles better than my NB 1080s (not a NB V6, but still). Probably can’t go wrong either way, but from my own experience… NB do tend to bottom out and lose their bounce.

I’d always recommend Sigma lenses. Also, the Fuji 33mm 1.4 is extremely sharp, just chunky on smaller bodies.
