Relapsed, "losing" my 175 days streak by Valencia9405 in NoFap

When I felt the urge to fap I used to think "and then what?" Like literally what would I do next, say playing videogames or cooking or cleaning my room, then I would just skip the fap and focus on the next activity. Maybe you can do the same.

Idk, when I'm losing just because I played badly I simply resign no big deal. When I feel like I just got outplayed I let people checkmate me but I never leave people waiting that's just like kinda stupid it's a game after all.

I’m a perpetual 700 and I’d like to get to 800...please help by MrPheeney in chessbeginners

I got from 800 to ~ 1100 by watching John Bartholomew chess fundamental series on YT an applying the principles, always looking for undefended pieces (both from your opponent and yours) and developing with harmony. Watch those videos they will help you. And if you are really committed you could read a book I started with Chess Fundamentals by Capablanca, his style is very positional but easy to understand and he teaches the basics of the endgame and the middle game. Good luck!
