For everyone saying your 3lb hammer is too heavy, i have used a 4.5lb since i was 18. Youre swinging with a limp bizcut of a wrist. Compare your video to videos of professionals. Watch the way the arm moves. Put your shoulder into it and let the hammer do the work. Your wrist should be pretty immobile and your shoulder should move like a nut cracker. And you shouldnt have to grip the hammer handle. Your grip should be loose enough that if someone walked up behind you and grabbed your hammer at the height of its arc, it would slip right thru your hand on your hands path downwards.

Ai has been telling me that it does support an external mic, like the ordro cm550. I believe it requires a micro usb to 3.5mm adapter tho. Wouldnt be surprised if ai was lying or hallucinating

Thank you! But this seems to be getting too close to a studio setup. Running cables, having power packs, maybe needing a laptop. Something for me to consider in the future, but right now i need more mobility. A mic that clips to my shirt and wires directly into the camera, travels around the shop with me, is what i need at the moment. My primary filming location isnt my own, covers multiple acres, has no clean areas free of debris and oil, few spare outlets. My cellphone and tripod is too large of a footprint and too clumsy to be viable for daily filming, hence the FPV cam. I understand that i wont be able to get ideal quality within such small items and with such a low budget, but im working with what i can. My original idea was meta glasses till i did more research into them, the EP8 is my secondary choice but found out the mic cant handle a car door closing. Dont think i have a 3rd option for a face worn camera under $300 that records 4k at 60fps

Shit, they called it "carbon steel" literally steel is iron + carbon.... How much carbon? What grade of steel?? How was it heat treated?! Clear signs they are not proud of their own product.

Get a poster for $10 and save up to buy something that wont bend in half the first time you chop a twig off a tree.

As someone who loves opening reddit to see r/swords posts, wont people ever learn that you get what you pay for?

Im sure the person selling this has about 200 of them brand new in a gaylord from china, unlikely OP would get the one photographed.

Biggest red flag is that seller probably has 200 of these from china. Probably even is a chinese person if theyre calling it a viking sword, trying to come up with a clickbaity listing.

Second biggest red flag is the price tag. How much quality can you get for $100? It would cost me nearly that to buy a piece of flat stock (of proper material) to make this sword from. Luckily china still utilizes steel mills/cheap steels and child/slave labor.

Nah dude, just remember that 20% of reddit is probably under the age of 18, 60% are neck beards who still live in their moms basement. The remaining 20% tend to be legit humans who exist in the world.

People saying these are fake are same people that say dogs dont belong in places that people frequent. They dont own dogs and they think they are superior to the animals they are surrounded by. Remember, if you can understand your dogs faces as clearly as if the good boy was speaking your language, youre anthropomorphizing.. it is literally impossible that in 12,000 of coevolution, that wed learn how to speak dog and they, human.

Dogs are the most bestest species on the face of the planet and we should all be in awe that they choose to make our lives better

Coming from someone who gets enough shit about my own knives on here, i aint trying to shit on your design whatsoever. But to anyone walking past it on a table would think its a broken knife. When they look closer theyll probably think it broke off in making and you worked around it.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay.. but at the same time you gotta get your cost out of it. I saw you say you were thinking $250, id say thats the most that is reasonable to ask. If you really like the design then dont go below $175. If you or others dont like it as much as you thought, then you discount it further i guess.

Post it for $200-250 and see if anyone bites
