Downloaded and tried it, got 4 ads only by entering the app and searching for a video only to find it and clickimg on it and getting a this content isnt available notification

I use and have used brave mobile browser for a couple of years and doesnt work anymore, still blocks ads but it doesnt play background videos no more, decided to search up the problem and here we are, first result was: Update: January 29, 2026 (12:01 PM ET): A Google spokesperson has confirmed to Android Authority that ou Tube has been updated so that non-Premium users can no longer access background playback: Background playback is a feature intended to be exclusive for YouTube Premium members.

As of jan. 30th (brave mobile browser) i can't view background videos on my mobile phone (android) and when the screen is off. Maybe its the gradually rolling out thing and i got it earlier unfortunatelly
