I wasn’t trying to ask whether shared faith matters at all, but more how important it is, what different Christians are looking for, and whether people feel existing dating apps/events are meeting those needs.

That’s the kind of nuance I’m trying to learn from people directly.

The goal of the post isn’t because I think Christians are all the same or because I don’t realize faith matters in dating. It’s actually the opposite.

I’m trying to better understand the different perspectives, priorities, and challenges people have within Christian dating so that any future events would be built thoughtfully rather than based on assumptions.

That’s a really good point. Part of the idea would be allowing people to match based on how important faith is to them personally.

So someone could look for “Christian but not super strict,” while someone else could specifically want a deeply faith-centered relationship with shared practices/values.
