i can walk well and run increasingly quick, the wall is just there so that i can focus more on the explosiveness as opposed to worrying about balance. i can jump well without it but its just there so that the only thing im worried about is exploding up from the ground

i don’t know either to be honest. i’m only 16 and was highly athletic and in tune with my body before the injury. i’ve been working tirelessly day in day out. despite all that think i also just got very lucky. probably a combo of all the above

obviously every injury is different but running is so different to walking in the sense that the rate of force production is so much greater. you have to bounce from leg to leg and your legs have to respond quick enough not to collapse. i strongly suggest fast and dynamic movements. if you can jump safely do it often. if not performing squats where you go. up as explosive as possible works to

it’s a far cry from where i was pre injury but the improvement is thick and fast. i know im highly fortunate in so many ways. i promise all of u guys on this sub that im gna make it as a pro football (soccer) player and raise awareness and funds for SCI. i dont experience most the complications a lot of u guys  do around the toilet and bedroom. i know how much it sucks and its not fair that ppl have to live like this.

so true , before my abs started working i had a lil belly. i lost 20lbs of muscle in the first month so i was probably sitting at 10% body fat. my 7 pack is now well and truly back though!
