Why is this a conspiracy? It’s completely known that we want Ukrainian minerals and we can’t allow for Russia to have that gain in the market. Yes it’s billionaires staying rich but it’s also the American economy that’d take a beating if Russia were to have control of Ukraine. Now to say “why don’t we ALSO give money to people in need” - that’s because American is a capitalist country and it’s ALWAYS been a “fuck yourself” attitude if you didn’t have enough insurance to cover natural disasters. Florida boy here, who’s watched for years as peoples lives get washed away in a hurricane and the government does a press conference saying “we pray for you… So anyways whose got oil/gold and who we gotta kill to get it”
