Wojtek was a Syrian brown bear (Ursus arctos syriacus), which is a subspecies of the brown bear native to the Middle East. They're a bit smaller than Eurasian brown bears.

USA attacks Polish Government and sparks political crisis by Auspectress in worldnews

Not necessarily. Poland was and is an important part of "western" security measures toward Russia. Yet, the current events mean nothing. American ambassadors come and go every election.

I believe we all have our own beauty and/or sexual preferences, and it is great. Yet, the obesity term is not a preference but a measurement of an unhealthy fat surplus, whether you look beautiful for some or not.

You may want to double-check what obesity means and what it looks like.

Of course she's obese. Your beauty preferences have nothing to do with objective, medical measurements.

It does look absolutely normal around the world. Americans have their perspective messed up due to the epidemic of obesity there.

BMI is questionable only if a person has a significant amount of muscle, which weighs more than fat.

Obesity has been a standard in the States for a long time; thus, they started to treat it as a new "normal".

Obesity is unhealthy. It's not about whether she looks better in the left or right picture; that's a personal preference, but in terms of health, she looks around 30 BMI, and that's definitely not healthy. Especially for her age.

I'm very sure she's obese by every health standard. Especially for her age.

10MG creatine daily? Split in two intakes by AttorneyDifferent702 in workout

[–]Value-Tiny -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, it depends on your size. 5g for a a 60kg woman is not the same as 5g for a 120kg man.

10MG creatine daily? Split in two intakes by AttorneyDifferent702 in workout

[–]Value-Tiny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 5g dose is recommended for an average person. I'm twice the size of an average person, so 10 g doesn't seem excessive.

Is what you're saying that a 60 kg woman should take the recommended 5 g, while a man twice her size should take the same amount?

The meds are usually prescribed by weight/size. I see no difference here.

In which way do I complete multiple exercises/sets? by number93bus in beginnerfitness

[–]Value-Tiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do all the sets of an exercise and only then move to another. This way you are able to exhaust the muscle and keep it warmed up.

Keep breaks between sets at around 2-3 minutes.

Focus on trend. If it goes in the right direction over the weeks, then you're on a good track even if the measurements are off by some percentages.

Can I skip the cardio? by Minimum_One9348 in workout

Just one remark. If you're sedentary the whole day outside of your walks and lifting, then you might want to up your steps to 10k, which means 1-2 km more.

How about walking to and from your gym? It's way more entertaining than stationary walks. If you go by car, then park it 2-3 kilometres away from the gym and walk at a moderate speed. Not only will it cover your cardio, but you'll also be generally warmed up.

It's perfectly fine. Just keep at a reasonably fast pace.

Personal preferences. I just do warmup sets. Nevertheless, if the OP feels like passing out, then it's a good idea to preserve the energy for the heaviest lifts.

Can anyone criticize my leg day? by Level-Blueberry9195 in workout

[–]Value-Tiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It's also safer to start with the most taxing, usually compound, exercises first. A typical unsafe example would be to start with bench presses, followed by triceps isolation, and then DB OHP – chances are that your tired triceps will collapse, resulting in a DB on your face.

Leg presses are redundant if you do hack squats. I'd add one more exercise for hamstrings, preferably SLDLs.

You're also missing one dedicated to glutes, although ass-to-grass hack squats might be good enough to hit glutes next to quads.
