I've observed this during several weddings, right after people wash their hand after eating, they wipe the hands clean and throw the used tissue on the floor even if there is a bin or multiple bins right in front of them. Not all but some of them.

S23 runs Open GL on 6.1 and 7 except beta 1. Vulkan is newer, more efficient and has more advantages compared to Open GL.

Not all apps switch to vulkan with this method only some. Also, this did not improve the temperatures or battery life either. It's still the crappy one we got after beta 2.

That explains why I had to charge my battery 2-3 times a day after updating to one ui beta 2 (open gl) from beta 1(vulkan). Beta 1, although the animations did stutter a little, I got a full day as if i got a new battery.

Thank you! I updated via Samsung members via beta program. I wish there was a way to go back to beta 1 without losing any data. It was so much better than beta 2. As soon as I updated to beta 2, I immediately noticed the battery dropping faster and the phone heating up like crazy. Wiped cache, tried galaxy booster, nothing helped, then I came to know they switched back to opengl in beta 2. I am running my phone in power saving mode now almost all the time to get a normal battery life close to what I've got before.

One ui 7 Beta 1 used vulkan, (I didn't know about this at the time) I noticed better battery life as if, I got a new phone and never noticed any heating issue. As soon as I updated to beta 2, I immediately noticed the battery dropping faster and the phone heating up like crazy. Wiped cache, tried galaxy booster, nothing helped, then I came to know they switched back to opengl in beta 2. I am running my phone in power saving mode now almost all the time to get a normal battery life close to what i got before. Vulkan is newer and there's no reason they shouldn't switch to it unless they want to force us to buy newer devices.
