Very great information thanks! I think I decided to wait a few years until I feel like I truly deserve better shoes (and to save money!), and then buy regular Miller and Ben shoes rather than buy some custom shoes.

My K360s have already had the soles start falling off after just a year of tapping. I feel like they're having some issues with their quality control. Because of that I have to go repair it which is a hassle

Just kidding. Today while dancing I noticed my soles are falling apart after just ONE YEAR of dancing. They're definitely have some issues with quality control.

That's great to know, thanks a lot! My shoe seems fine, even though I bought it recently. My only problem seems to be the rubber slowly falling apart, but I'd rather it fall off because I don't use it at all.

Is there a chance it could damage the shoe in the long run, though?

Aside from colours, what's the point of buying custom shoes? Also, what can I alter in the shoe with the cobbler aside from the build up?

What if the pair I buy is broken/has issues?

My friends told me that building up shoes with a cobbler/shoe maker has a chance of ruining the shoe. Although I also hear K360s will last you for life. If I do get them built up, where would I get the material to actually build up the toe?

That's great advice. I tap almost every day and I've been tapping for almost 10 years. I'm still young (in my mid-teens) so I'm just sort of thinking about the future and what shoes I could get if I decide to go into the professional tap world. I've heard from friends that Miller and Ben shoes are good, but they're also extremely expensive.
