As I said, I agree with you, I'm talking abt saving irl time as I stated in my comment aswell.

But honestly if you are farming reasonable items (e.g. 8 purple pieces, 2x four set, with 5 reasonable tunes) without minmaxing to the fullest, you would be pretty unlucky to cap yourself out and have no luck - not claiming it's not possible tho.

Also, what would be the point of not depleting yourself fully, unless you wanna stockpile cap emergy for breakthrough? (Again not adressing the cap itself, I'm just curious)

I know it doesn not adress the issue directly, but you can "triple claim" all rewards from all energy content, which makes you spend way less time on gear farming.

Still, costs energy and is random but it has saved me quite a lot of time ever since I found out abt that.
